We Agree on Almost Nothing. . Except How to Solve Problems Across the Political Divide

I promised I would share an op-ed I co-authored with a liberal Democratic friend, Rob Fersh, on the important - some would say, urgent - need to restore an important remnant of our social fabric; building trust and the ability to dialogue across the partisan divide.

Some think it is too late. Injustices - some real, others imagined - have led a growing number of Americans to believe that it is time to "refresh the tree of liberty with the blood of patriots and tyrants." Perhaps that time must come. It need not come today. It should not have come yesterday at the US Capitol.

We have much more in common than not, although that's clearly is changing, and becoming increasingly difficult to grasp. But grasp, we must. Click here for the full op-ed
